Machines that inspired a generation!
A tribute to the machines that brought computing home in the 1980s. These machines inspired not just me, but a whole generation. This project is just a small tribute, but a fun and nostalgic one. The cards collate a small piece of computing history, allowing you to compare stats of retro machines! And of course you can play a trump card game with them too.

Comments, corrections

A few simple stats can't fully convey the full character and complexity of these machines, but will bring back memories or inspire people to find out more! We've checked all stats and even crowdsourced review of the beta cards, but there is still a chance a contentious data point could slip through. Please let us know if you see something wrong.

Credits for photos are on each card, and also here.

Some notes on the card stats categories; RAM is general purpose memory excluding dedicated VRAM, palette is total number of colors that can be displayed, excluding transparencies and duplicates. Resolution is maximum mode independent of palette stat.
